Childcare on campus

Daycare center "Campus Kinder"

In our daycare center "Campus Kinder" children from different life situations, different cultures and ways of life live and learn every day. Many families whose children come to us live in Nordhausen or the surrounding area. Some of the parents are students and employees of the HS Nordhausen, whom we give priority to. Children of working parents also attend our daycare center. Due to our bilingual education (Russian-German), parents with Russian origin also select our daycare center very specifically.

The daycare center is located directly on the campus of the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and is integrated into a student housing complex. The directly adjacent residential area, the campus grounds and the natural outdoor area offer our children a green and quiet environment as well as plenty of space for movement. The modern and bright rooms as well as the spacious and child-friendly outdoor area show a true paradise for children. The facility is easily accessible by bicycle, bus and car.

Our day care center can be attended by children from the age of 8 months until they start school. There are 25 places available - 10 of which are for children under 3 years of age.

If you have any questions or are interested in visiting or registering your child, please do not hesitate to contact us. The director of the daycare center, Mrs. Lange, will arrange an appointment with you.

The operator of our Kita is the Studierendenwerk Thüringen. The Kita fee statutes of the city of Nordhausen apply. Students can apply for a daycare subsidy at the Nordhausen District Office.

Lunch, drinks and fruit are provided. The daycare center is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You can find more information on the website of the Studierendenwerk Thüringen.
