You have an innovative idea in mind you want to become true? You‘ve always wanted to start your own business?

HIKE is the university incubator of the University of Applied Sciences Nordhausen. We support founder teams in realizing and testing their product (or service) idea within five months. The program focuses on two future-oriented industries – sustainability and Internet of Things (IoT). The offer is adressed to all students and employees of University of Applied Sciences Nordhausen.

Apply until 24th January 2021 for the next batch during the summer semester!

Setup your own start-up in one semester

Why should you participate?

In addition to the opportunity to set up a start-up (your own company!), we offer you a broad network of professors, experts and practice partners. Furthermore, you will receive relevant knowledge for (further) developing a product (or service) idea and for building up a company in our regular workshops and trainings. All this is a valuable experience that is attractive for future employers.

How can you apply?

In the first step you have to fill out the HIKE Canvas. This helps us to get an impression of your business idea. You also need to visualize your business idea in a certain way, e.g. a short video in which you introduce yourself. You can find all templates and further information about the application on Moodle. A jury consisting of the HIKE team and representatives of the practice partners will decide about your acceptance into the program.
