The new Incubator/accelerator programme the Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research Thuringia (PEN) with a focus on investment readiness, internationalisation and open innovation has been launched.
TRIP (Thuringian Regional Innovation Programme) is aimed at start-ups as well as SMEs and other innovators. So far, there have been two TRIP classes, each of which started in November. The STIFT awards 10 places for this programme. Participants benefit from a 6-month programme: Budget, expertise, workshops and networking with investors, SMEs, corporates and innovators.

Credit points are earned for successfully completed coursework and examinations in accordance with the "European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System" (ECTS).
The ECTS points reflect the average learning effort. One ECTS point corresponds to 30 hours of study.
Based on the ECTS points, the study and examination achievements are internationally comparable.
