Arrival within Germany

By train

Nordhausen is an intersection of the railway lines Halle - Kassel and Erfurt - Nordhausen. On both routes trains run hourly in both directions from 5 to 23 o'clock. There is also a rail connection from Nordhausen to Wernigerode.

By car

From the east, travel via the B 80 and A38 from Halle.
From the south, you travel best on the A71 to Sangerhausen and then A38 to Nordhausen or on the B4 from Erfurt.
From the north, take the A7 (Hamburg - Würzburg) to the Seesen exit and from there take the B 243 to Nordhausen.
From the west, take the A44 to Kassel, drive on the A7 (direction Hannover) to the triangle Drammetal and continue on the A38 to Nordhausen.

 

By bus

The campus can be reached from the railway station by bus line A ("Hochschule" stop, directly on the campus, every 20 minutes) or by bus lines K and 21 ("Hallesche Straße" station, south campus entrance).

By plane
