Berufsbildungszentrum Nordhausen gGmbH (BBZ) and Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (HSN) have signed an agreement on comprehensive cooperation in training and further education. The collaboration between the two educational institutions aims to complement and deepen existing expertise.
The BBZ offers a wide range of information and educational services, courses, training and further education programmes as well as qualification measures and events. Its aim is to support people in their professional development and qualification. HSN is known for its more than 30 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the fields of engineering, economics and social sciences. In addition, HSN focuses its teaching and research on the key topics of GreenTech, management and governance as well as social and health services.
The cooperation agreement sets out the basic framework agreements for the cooperation between the BBZ and HSN. In addition to carrying out research and development work, the agreement also covers the joint use of the cooperation partners' facilities, the exchange of experience and results as well as personnel cooperation.
The cooperation is intended to create synergies and further develop the training and further education programmes offered by both institutions. The close cooperation makes it possible to benefit from the respective strengths and expertise and thus make the programme even more attractive for students, trainees and further education participants.
Olaf Salomon, Managing Director of the BBZ, emphasised the importance of the collaboration: "By closely interlinking theoretical knowledge and practical application, we can offer learners the best possible training. The cooperation with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences opens up a wide range of opportunities for us to expand and deepen our expertise."
Prof. Dr Jörg Wagner, President of HSN, also commented positively on the cooperation: "The collaboration with the BBZ gives us the opportunity to further strengthen our practice-oriented degree programmes and provide students with even more direct access to the professional world. We look forward to a successful partnership."
Both parties are confident that this collaboration will contribute to a sustainable strengthening of education and training in the region.
