How to get there?

From the hotel, walk to the tram stop on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, at the corner of Tchaikovsky Street, about 50 meters away. You can use tram line 2 (direction P+R – Platz Messe) or tram line 3 (direction Europaplatz). After 4 stops, get off at Fischmarkt. The tram stop is right in front of the town hall.

Restaurant Glashütte on the Petersberg

Our city guides are waiting for us at 4:45 PM in front of the town hall. From there we make our way to the Petersberg Citadel. There, the city guides accompany us through the exhibition rooms in the Kommandantenhaus and explain the exciting eras of the Petersberg Citadel.

Here, for example, the monastic period, the history of the fortress and the life of the soldiers up to the use of the citadel in the GDR are discussed. Multimedia offers, such as video installations, sounds, infographics or models will ensure that you can experience history up close. Following this tour, we will enter the mysterious listening corridors of the Petersberg Citadel.

Around 7:00 PM the city guides take us to the Glashütte restaurant, a restaurant directly on top the Petersberg, where dinner awaits us.
