Digital Library Thuringia

The Digital Library Thuringia (DBT) is a joint platform of the Thuringian universities and serves the electronic publishing and long-term archiving of multimedia content.

Publishing content in the Digital Library Thuringia is free of charge and offers worldwide availability and findability of uploaded content. In addition, citability is guaranteed by constant addresses.

In addition to documents, videos, audio recordings and data from research and teaching, academic theses can also be uploaded to the Digital Library Thuringia.

In addition, teachers have the option of creating digital semester apparatuses with selected materials and releasing them to the participants of a lecture in a password-protected manner.

The Digital Library Thuringia can be searched using a simple or advanced search, but also offers the option of browsing the content of individual institutions or by specific document types, subject groups and persons.

Publishing a thesis

In order to publish a Bachelor's or Master's thesis in the Digital Library Thuringia (DBT), a declaration of consent completed and signed by the student and examiner is required, which is submitted to the library together with the electronic thesis (in PDF format).

The electronic thesis will be published immediately by the university library. After publication, you will be informed by e-mail of the URL with which you can directly access your thesis.
