Department of Economic and Social Sciences

Practice-oriented university teaching in matters of economy and social affairs
The Department of Economics and Social Sciences offers its students seven bachelor's and three Master's degree courses - plus three continuing education master's programs - a higher education course that prepares for modern management in corporate, social and charitable institutions. Its practical orientation and close contact with the regional economy ensure that teaching is geared to the requirements of companies and associations.
For students, this offers the opportunity to make contact with companies through internships or a bachelor or master thesis.
Small lecture groups also support practice-oriented learning. There are no overcrowded lecture halls or anonymity in the crowd, as it's the situation in many universities, there is not here.
