The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through the collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Experts from DLR, SSC, ZARM and ESA provide technical support to the student teams throughout the project. The BEXUS-IMUFUSION experiment was housed in the BEXUS 26 gondola. The position, navigation and climate data could be stored in the developed electronics and simultaneously visualised in the team's own ground station. href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-nordhausen.de\/en\/study-programmes\/automation-and-electronics-development\/\">Bachelor's degree programme in Automation and Electronics Engineering (AEE)<\/a>&nbsp;were enthusiastic and motivated by this practical project. In addition to getting to know the other European teams and their experiments, they received valuable information about project management, system design and electronics development for special applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In February 2018, the team spent a training week in Esrange, met other European teams and the programme managers and was able to clarify organisational and technological issues relating to the BEXUS-IMUFUSION experiment. After the impressive stay in Esrange, the team focussed on the tasks at hand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of sensory front-end,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hardware and software design,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System integration,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prototyping and testing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were also other meetings, such as a critical design review at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC in Noordwijk near Amsterdam and a pressure-temperature test at ZARM Fallturm-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH Bremen.
