The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through the collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Experts from DLR, SSC, ZARM and ESA provide technical support to the student teams throughout the project. The flight is planned for October 2026 at the Esrange Space Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team consists of: Omar Alak, Michel H\u00e4rter, Ahmed Abbas Jameel Alhamid, Alexander Pehlert, Christoph B\u00f6nisch, Christian Feine and, as Senior Scientists, Prof Dr Matthias Viehmann and Prof Dr Klaus-Peter Neitzke.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-zielstellung\"><strong>Objective and technical system<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The BEXUS-ALBEDO experiment is planned to investigate radiation components in the ultraviolet to infrared spectral range on the stratospheric balloon. The measurements will be carried out at altitudes of up to around 28 km, accompanied by extreme environmental conditions with temperatures as low as -70 \u00b0C and a minimum air pressure in the millibar range. The sensor system will record the radiation in the spectral range from around 250 \u00b5m to 10 nm. The focus was on getting to know the SSC, the other teams, the project management and support as well as the balloon system. Agreements were made on the design of the experiments, gondola integration and project organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n<div  class=\"gs_O1NReR row_wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns
