The BEXUS-ALBEDO project follows the projects BEXUS-IMUFUSION<\/span>, BEXUS-ELFI<\/span> and BEXUS-ARESONUS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nREXUS\/BEXUS programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\u201eThe REXUS\/BEXUS program is realised under a bilateral agency agreement between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA). The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through the collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Experts from DLR, SSC, ZARM and ESA provide technical support to the student teams throughout the project. The flight is planned for October 2026 at the Esrange Space Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/svg>\n\t\t<\/button>The team includes (from left): Senior Scientist Prof Dr Matthias Viehmann, Alexander Pehlert, Ahmed Abbas Jameel Alhamid, Michel H\u00e4rter, Omar Alak, Christoph B\u00f6nisch, Christian Feine and Senior Scientist Prof Dr Klaus-Peter Neitzke. The measurements are carried out at altitudes of up to around 28 km, accompanied by challenging environmental conditions with temperatures down to -70 \u00b0C and a minimum air pressure in the millibar range. The focus was on getting to know the SSC, the other teams, the project management and support as well as the balloon system. In the period 26.01.2026 until 30.01.2026<\/strong> the team spent a week training at the Esrange Space Centre, the first EU spaceport on the European continent. The focus was on getting to know the SSC, the other teams, the project management and support as well as the balloon system.
