Conversely, the Staff Council provides information about its activities and topics relevant to employees at the bi-annual staff meetings or by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-antrag-auf-mitbestimmung-durch-den-personalrat\">Application for co-determination by the Staff Council<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scientific staff<\/strong>whose positions are wholly or partially&nbsp;<strong>from third-party funds<\/strong>&nbsp;are financed, and&nbsp;<strong>Assistants<\/strong>&nbsp;are not automatically represented by the Staff Council in the case of recruitment, classification and contract extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All academic staff in externally funded projects and all assistants are recommended to submit an \"Application for co-determination by the Staff Council\" so that they are also represented by the Staff Council during recruitment, classification and contract extension and the Staff Council can ensure that legal and collective bargaining provisions are observed in their favour.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
