Student body

Participation - but how?

The aim was to organise the strategy development as a participatory process. But why at all? We, the Department of Teaching and Learning, assume that our university members themselves know best what they need, how teaching and learning should be organised in the future, which goals should be prioritised and how these can be achieved. True to the motto "Experts in their own cause„.

To give everyone the opportunity to participate, we have integrated various mechanisms into the process:

- Integration of the University Assembly as the highest body of academic self-administration with members from the various status groups

- Convening of Plenary meetingsto provide information on the status of the teaching and digitalisation strategy and to provide opportunities for co-determination through surveys

- Workshopsin which members of the various status groups are called upon to participate jointly in strategy development

The shared experiences, opinions and results of these measures to promote participation have a significant influence on the strategy development process.

Over the next four years, we worked on implementing the teaching and digitalisation strategy across the university.
