Einfluss von Sozialen Determinanten auf die Gesundheit ist seit langem empirisch belegt (vgl. Kommission der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO))<sup data-fn=\"48b537a7-0f6c-4b36-946b-bc22070ddcff\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"48b537a7-0f6c-4b36-946b-bc22070ddcff-link\" href=\"#48b537a7-0f6c-4b36-946b-bc22070ddcff\">1<\/a><\/sup>. Sozialstrukturelle Merkmale wie Alter, Geschlecht, sexuelle Orientierung, Sozialstatus (operationalisiert \u00fcber Einkommen, Bildung, Berufsstatus), soziale Lebenslagen, Armut, Arbeitsbedingungen, Migrationsgeschichte, Kultur und Religion sowie andere Faktoren wie bspw. Gewalterfahrungen haben nachweislich einen betr\u00e4chtlichen Einfluss auf die Gesundheit.<br>Als Soziale Gesundheitsdeterminanten beeinflussen sie die individuellen gesundheitlichen Belastungen, die jeweils zur Verf\u00fcgung stehenden Bew\u00e4ltigungs- und Widerstandsressourcen sowie die gesundheitsrelevanten Aspekte des Lebensstils und die gesundheitliche Versorgung. Eine isolierte Betrachtung nur einer einzelnen Sozialen Determinante kann zu Fehlinterpretation und Nichterkennen komplexerer Zusammenh\u00e4nge f\u00fchren. Eine intersektionale Perspektive hat den Anspruch diese blinden Flecken zu verringern, indem sie stets mehrere soziale Determinanten in ihrer wechselseitigen, multiplikativen statt additiven Beeinflussung betrachtet. Intersektionale Betrachtung identifiziert und analysiert mit einem macht- und herrschaftskritischen Fokus gleichfalls die strukturellen, gesellschaftlichen, institutions- bzw. systemimmanenten Ursachen f\u00fcr (gesundheitliche) Ungleichheit oder Diskriminierung, die Chancengleichheit verhindern.
