Inspiring Bachelor's thesis on the topic \"Conceptualisation of a business game as a problem- and practice-oriented learning format for the Social Management degree programme at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences\"<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Former student Moritz Mangels is not only remembered for his great commitment to the student council. No. His attachment to his own Social Management degree programme<\/a> was evident in his final thesis, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He addressed the future requirements for social managers in social economy organisations and related these to the training and development of specific skills as part of the social management course at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (HSN). The focus of his scientific analysis was the question of the extent to which the simulation game learning format as a practice- and problem-orientated instrument is suitable for promoting the competences described. Following an analysis of the structure, modules, regulations and special features of the degree programme, the focus was placed on practice-oriented and interdisciplinary teaching and learning methods and the theory of the simulation game (in the degree programme) was presented with a description of the phases, opportunities, challenges, the role of the game leader and the relevance of reflection, culminating in a draft concept for a research-oriented simulation game in the methodological section.
