Welcome to Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is a young, ambitious campus university with modern facilities. Under the slogan \u201epersonal-innovative-diverse\u201c, we offer around 30 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the fields of engineering, economics and social sciences. At the same time, the university attaches great importance to its research orientation. Numerous research projects are carried out in the areas of \u201eGreen Tech\u201c, \u201eManagement and Governance\u201c and \u201eSocial and Health Services\u201c, which are also listed on the research map of the German Rectors' Conference. Projects are also realised in cooperation with regional partners in six research institutes. The university also attaches great importance to regional and supra-regional links to science, business, administration and society, which are consolidated by the current Transferwerk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to good graduates and its achievements in research and science transfer, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences has been able to significantly raise its profile. With the \u201eNordhausen University of Applied Sciences 2030\u201c strategy (see p. 10), the university is to be promoted even more strongly in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We employ a dedicated and motivated team whose aim is to offer, organise and manage high-quality teaching, research, continuing education and knowledge transfer at our university. We welcome you as a new team member at our university and look forward to working with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first few days are known to be a particular challenge. With this welcome pack, we would like to help you get off to a positive start and settle in well. It contains important key points for your upcoming working day, as well as information on contacts and things to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to get to know you better, we organise a welcome meeting once every six months in which we want to talk to you and ask you for suggestions for further improvement. We also offer you a sympathetic ear and an open door at all times if you have any questions or need guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
