Access to the Studienkolleg

You cannot apply directly to the Studienkolleg Nordhausen, you must first apply to a college or university in Thuringia. Your certificates (University entrance qualification from the home country) and language certificates (at least level B1) has been tested.

The university/college will then decide whether you have to take a German language test (DSH) or the assessment test at a preparatory college.

The Application deadlines can be found on the corresponding websites of the respective university or college!

Please send your application documents not to the Studienkolleg in Nordhausen!

You will receive conditional admission to the degree programme from the university/college.

With conditional admission, you will then take part in the entrance test for the Studienkolleg Nordhausen. An additional invitation will not be sent by the Studienkolleg. However, you must register via our website to take the entrance test within the specified period.

You can make an appointment to apply for a visa at the embassy in your home country as soon as you have conditional admission.
