Our diverse Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes offer a wide range of specialisations, including engineering, business administration and social work. All Bachelor degree programmes are not subject to authorisation. For the Master's programmes there are individual admission requirements which are set out in the relevant study and examination regulations.
For both the undergraduate Bachelor's degree programmes and the Master's degree programmes, you must register online via the Applicant portal of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.
Applications for a higher semester are made not online. Please contact us about the application process at .

Application deadlines for the winter semester: see online application
When applying for a Bachelor's degree programme, you must submit a simple copy of your higher education entrance qualification (Abitur certificate or other suitable certificates in PDF format) after registering in the Applicant portal upload.
When applying for a Master's degree programme, in addition to uploading the university entrance qualification, proof of completion of a first professionally qualifying degree in accordance with the admission requirements of the Master's degree programme is required.
The documents to be submitted (in the upload area) for Master's applications differ. Please refer directly to the degree programmes to find out which additional documents must be submitted.
Please refer to the study and examination regulations published for your chosen degree programme to find out whether you need to submit a CV to apply for a Master's degree programme.
You do not have to submit a CV in the application procedure for Bachelor's degree programmes.
Currently, it is not necessary to upload an officially certified copy directly to the university's applicant portal.
The university reserves the right to request official certifications of documents by post in justified cases.
Applications for a higher semester can be sent by post to the Student Service Centre. Corresponding application forms (admission/enrolment in the Bachelor's or Master's degree programme) can be found at Applications and information sheets.
The application must be accompanied by a university entrance qualification, a certificate of exmatriculation from the previous university, if applicable, as well as proof of creditable examination results and a clearance certificate. Once all documents have been received, they will be submitted to the relevant examination board for a decision.
You can check the processing status of your application in HISinOne at any time. You will also receive status messages about changes to your application via your e-mail inbox. Your application will be processed promptly.

No confirmation of receipt will be sent regarding the completeness or incompleteness of the documents. You can check the completeness of your documents via the Online portal view.
Admission letters are not issued for Bachelor's degree programmes without admission restrictions. You can apply for online enrolment directly via your applicant portal. If you are applying for a Master's degree programme, the notification will be sent after the responsible lecturers from the study areas have reviewed and made their decision. You can find the notification in your online portal.
For Bachelor's degree programmes, you should enrol by the day before the start of the semester.
The enrolment date for Master's degree programmes is stated in the letter of admission.
Please use the online enrolment in your applicant portal. Finally, transfer the semester fee. Once the fee has been received, you will be sent your certificate of enrolment with your provisional student ID.

Four weeks before the start of lectures and only in connection with your enrolment, you will receive your login details for your university account by e-mail and the thoska mapwhich replaces the provisional student ID card as a registered letter.

There are no tuition fees for Bachelor's and consecutive Master's degree programmes at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. Here only the Semester fee must be paid.
