We support the integration of employees with severe disabilities and their equals into the workplace
we represent their interests and provide them with advice and assistance
we ensure that the applicable laws, regulations, collective agreements, works or service agreements and administrative orders in favour of severely disabled employees and employees with equivalent status are implemented, and in particular that the obligations incumbent on the employer under the German Social Security Code are fulfilled
In doing so, we work closely and trustingly with the department, the employer's representatives and the staff council.
In accordance with SGB IX § 94, the representative body for severely disabled employees is elected by disabled employees to represent their interests. The term of office is four years.

Representation of the interests of severely disabled people at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences
Counselling for severely disabled employees
Receiving and pursuing complaints and suggestions from severely disabled employees
Monitoring statutory regulations and agreements made in favour of severely disabled people
Supporting employees with applications for the determination of a disability or equal status
Applying to the relevant authorities for measures that benefit severely disabled employees

Credit points are earned for successfully completed coursework and examinations in accordance with the "European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System" (ECTS).
The ECTS points reflect the average learning effort. One ECTS point corresponds to 30 hours of study.
Based on the ECTS points, the study and examination achievements are internationally comparable.
