There is a hall of residence for students on the premises and a Canteenwhich offers breakfast and lunch. Both are organised by the Studierendenwerk Thüringen operated.
Students also have access to a Librarysports facilities and other leisure activities.
Semester fee
The transfer of the Semester fee must be made immediately. A late fee will be charged for late payment. The bank details will be communicated upon enrolment at the Studienkolleg.
The student ID card will only be issued after the booking has been received at the Studienkolleg of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences! A booking process takes at least two weeks!
Living
There are various options for renting a room or flat on the university campus and in the town of Nordhausen. The prices depend on the size and comfort of the room (double or single room) or flat.
Several students live in a flat in the hall of residence on campus, sharing a kitchen, shower and toilet. The rooms are furnished and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available. Further information can be found at:
If you want to organise your own accommodation, you should stay at the "Rothleimmühle" youth hostel for the first few nights to find a suitable room in peace and quiet.
Furnished student rooms
Furnished student rooms are also available in the city, which are offered by private landlords. Offers from private landlords can also be obtained from the Studienkolleg staff.
The Student Council takes care of all student concerns and problems and represents them vis-Ã -vis the university management and other institutions. The Student Council office is located in House 13.

You can make copies in almost all administrative and lecture theatre buildings at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences with your thoska map.
Credit points are earned for successfully completed coursework and examinations in accordance with the "European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System" (ECTS).
The ECTS points reflect the average learning effort. One ECTS point corresponds to 30 hours of study.
Based on the ECTS points, the study and examination achievements are internationally comparable.
