Participation of employees in HSN courses
Participation in courses with professional reference to the service tasks
Participation by employees in individual courses at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is considered internal continuing education after prior consultation with their supervisor. The status of guest auditor isย not required. The time spent is counted as working time.
Participation in courses without professional reference to the service tasks
Employees of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences can apply for guest lectureships and attend them for a fee and outside working hours.
In consultation with your line manager, select relevant and interesting offers for you. Register by filling in and sending the registration form provided by the Registrar at the beginning of each year. Please register your seminar requests as early as possibleย ย back.
International Office
The Erasmus+ programme combines lifelong learning with mobility opportunities. All employees of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences who would like to experience the world from a different perspective by exchanging ideas with colleagues from other countries can take advantage of the staff mobility programme. The aims include international networking and professional exchange with colleagues from other European universities, strengthening intercultural skills and improving foreign language skills.
Within the framework of Staff Weeks/Days, for example, short stays for further education and training purposes (including participation in certain language courses abroad) can be subsidised. In addition to information on offers from partner universities in the newsletter and by e-mail, you will also findย Europe-wide offers to choose from. Teaching staff also have the opportunity to receive funding for short teaching mobilities for teaching purposes abroad.

TMIK e-learning programme
E-learning programmes are one way of taking part in seminars from the comfort of your workplace or mobile working.
Registrations for the annual e-learning seminars must be submitted by mid-March using the registration form sent by the Registrar to ย to be sent.
A maximum of two registrations per person are possible after consultation with the line manager. In addition, the seminars applied for in the previous year - insofar as there were registrations - must also have been completed or reasons must be given as to why processing was not possible.
Offers university didactics
There is an annually changing further education programme for lecturers at the university. In cooperation with the Thuringianย eTeach network Lunch lectures, e-talks or didactic method workshops are offered with varying amounts of time, focussing on media-related skills.

The Thuringian School of Administration (TVS) is the training and further education authority for the administration of the Free State of Thuringia. With its programmes, it imparts practice-oriented knowledge and equips public administration employees with the necessary skills.ย
