Teaching and research building at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in the Green Tech area

The AUGUST-KRAMER-INSTITUT commenced operations at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in January 2006. It is used for research and teaching in the fields of energy systems, materials and process engineering and geoengineering.

The institution is named after Dr phil. August Ephraim Kramer (1817-1885), Nordhausen personality and inventor of the pointer telegraph.

The AUGUST-KRAMER-INSTITUT brings together the activities focussing on Green Tech from the Faculty of Engineering at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. The AUGUST-KRAMER-INSTITUT is used as a teaching and research centre by the following institutes.

The organisation of processes and planning at the AUGUST-KRAMER-INSTITUT is coordinated by the heads of department from the above-mentioned research institutes.
