Summary of the project

As part of the Teaching Quality Pact, the university submitted a follow-up application to the Federal Ministry for the 2016-2020 funding period. This included a sub-application formulated by the ISRV with a focus on "Diversity". The aim of the activities and measures described in the application is to implement diversity more strongly in teaching and research, to recognise social and individual diversity criteria in the specialist cultures in their supporting and hindering dimensions and to impart more diversity-oriented skills in teaching and research. With the approval of the funding for the new period, a 100% position was created, which will initially fulfil the following tasks for one year:

  • Implementation of diversity aspects as part of the re-accreditation process (checking the module descriptions of all degree programmes at the university for diversity competencies)
  • (Further) development of modules and teaching content on the topic of diversity, including e-learning modules
  • Development and implementation of a diversity audit for Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences
  • Analysing, evaluating and processing data
  • Further development of the concept and implementation of the diversity strategy of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences
  • Conception of training programmes for employees and teachers
  • Recruitment of cooperation partners and networking
  • Acquisition of third-party funding
