The "Resource Forum Nordhausen" expands the thematic spectrum of the "Secondary Raw Materials Workshop at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences", which has been established for 15 years. This year, a new approach is being taken. In the wake of the increased sustainability initiatives in politics and business and as part of the GreenTech research focus, the event will be significantly broader than in previous years. The aim is to cover the entire spectrum from bioresources and mechanical engineering to recycling and sustainable construction. Two thematic areas will be offered in parallel on each of the two days in order to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the relevant topics. The speakers come from the fields of politics, science, research and practice and represent renowned companies in their respective areas of specialisation.

On Thursday evening, there will also be an opportunity to visit the Thuringian Innovation Centre for Recyclable Materials (ThIWert) with its modern technology centre. Afterwards, an evening event is planned at the traditional Nordhausen distillery, which will provide time and space for dialogue and networking.
