Prof Dr Maria Borcsa was delighted with the results of the trip: "The opportunity to expand our international contacts and think together about solutions to global health problems was very enriching. The North American colleagues were also very interested in the applied health research taking place in Germany."

The delegation is returning with new insights, partnerships and ideas that will help Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and other German universities of applied sciences to advance their scientific work. Prof Dr Borcsa and her colleagues are determined to further deepen their collaboration with North American universities and promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise with the aim of improving patient care.
