A joint look into the future: On 28 June, researchers from all over Thuringia will come together at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences to discuss problems and solutions in current scientific practice - you are also cordially invited.

What does the future hold? What can be expected in the field of engineering? And what is achievable? These questions will be addressed by scientists in exciting lectures and poster presentations on innovative and sustainable projects from the fields of research and teaching. Participation is open to the public throughout the day. You can look forward to a wide range of insights into the research areas of the member universities of the Thuringian Engineering Sciences Alliance ThürING at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. The event starts at 10:00 am.

We are particularly looking forward to the cabaret artist and graduate physicist Vince Ebert. From 15:00, he will present his perspective on the topics of the future with his lecture "Big Dadaism". Using witty and surprising examples, he will show where humans are superior to even the most intelligent computers and how imagination and creativity can also be successful in business in the future. The conference changes venue every year. ThürING is the "Thuringian Engineering Alliance". It is a forum for increased cooperation and joint strategy development between seven Thuringian universities.
