For many people, choosing the right degree programme is a key decision in life. However, it is often difficult to decide between the numerous degree programmes. To make the choice easier, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is now offering two orientation semesters.

The Orientation semester are aimed at prospective students who do not yet know exactly which degree programme is right for them. In the one-year programme, students can try out different subjects and find out which specialisation suits them best. Experienced lecturers are on hand to support them in their decision-making process.

The orientation semesters offer numerous advantages. On the one hand, students can get a taste of different subjects and find out which subject suits them best. Secondly, they get to know Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and its Our study programmes and can get a better idea of campus life. They also have the opportunity to socialise with other students and exchange ideas. The orientation semesters are also financially attractive, as they BaföG-eligible are.

Anyone interested in the orientation semesters at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences should apply directly to the Study Service Centre get advice. Since 15 April, it has been possible to make an appointment for a consultation by telephone, in person or online via the website or by e-mail.

Enrolment takes place in a Bachelor's degree programme offered at the university. This entitles students to attend courses outside of the degree programme for which they are enrolled and to gain comprehensive orientation. Counselling is provided throughout the entire process.
