University President Prof. Dr Jörg Wagner expressed his delight at the partnership and emphasised the importance of dual study programmes for the region: "Our collaboration with DEUSA enables us to further expand our dual/practical study programme and ensure a close integration of theory and practical phases for our students."

Together, the contractual partners endeavour to strengthen the link between university studies and professional practice in order to offer students the opportunity to acquire practical qualifications in the company alongside their studies.
