On 13 May, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences opened its doors to all interested parties. In beautiful spring weather, hundreds of visitors came to the event to find out about more than 30 degree programmes and experience various attractions and highlights. The talent stage offered visitors a varied programme with great student bands, an impressive hip-hop performance and the Basket Beats. There was also a technology show, campus and laboratory tours as well as fun and games - even for the little ones. In addition to visiting the information stands of the degree programmes, institutes and student councils, the "Open Day" also provided an opportunity to ask questions about applying, financing your studies, student accommodation, etc.

Interested parties were also able to get first-hand advice from professors and students and gain valuable insights into studying at the university. There was also a competition with fantastic prizes, which were raffled off at the end of the event; for example an iPad, but also lots of great vouchers from regional providers and other things.

The numerous organisers of the event were very satisfied with the "Open Day". Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences would like to thank all visitors for their interest and, of course, all helpers, supporters and sponsors. The event showed that interest in an academic education is high. Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is looking forward to welcoming many more prospective students in the future.
