As part of a festive ceremony in the HSN Audimax, the recent graduates of the two faculties of Business, Economics and Social Sciences and Engineering received their certificates and diplomas. In this context, the Academic Association - Förderverein der Hochschule Nordhausen e.V. traditionally honoured the best graduates of the respective degree programmes.

The President of the University, Prof Dr Jörg Wagner, gave a speech to bid farewell to the 173 graduates. This was followed by words of welcome from the Mayor of Nordhausen, Kai Buchmann, and the Chair of the Student Council, Ann-Sophie Groß. The deans of the Faculties of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, Prof Dr Stefan Zahradnik, and Engineering, Prof Dr Frank-Michael Dittes, introduced the presentation of the certificates with a speech. The graduates were then presented with their long-awaited certificates. The event was accompanied by music from Stefan-SOLO (Stefan Koch), a musician from Bad Sachsa.

The best graduates of the year were presented with a fountain pen engraved with their name. All graduates also received their much sought-after Bachelor's and Master's mugs. One or two of these mugs will certainly soon be sitting on an office desk in a company.

Following the graduation ceremony, the Karzer Studierendenclub e.V. organised a graduation party in the evening so that the graduates could toast their graduation and the upcoming new beginning.
