Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences has successfully graduated the sixth cohort of the part-time certificate programme "Network Technology and Network Operation District Heating". The practical training programme, which was developed in close cooperation with AGFW and the TEAG Academy, is aimed at specialists and managers from the energy and water industry who want to expand their expertise in the field of district heating.

Over the past two semesters, graduates have acquired in-depth knowledge in the planning, operational management and maintenance of district heating networks. The programme was supplemented by laboratory units, excursions and close interaction with current issues in the industry. As a result, the participants are now ideally qualified to take on responsible tasks in network operation and planning - right up to senior positions in technical management.

"We are proud that the sixth cohort has also completed the degree programme with great commitment. The combination of a scientific foundation, practical training and close cooperation with the industry has once again proven its worth," emphasises course director Prof. Dr.-Ing.

Demand for the continuing education programme remains high: the seventh cohort starts in January 2026 and is almost fully booked - only five places are still available. For those interested, the eighth cohort will start in April 2026.
