Study Service Centre (SSZ)

Dear students,

We are improving our software services for prospective and current students.

For this reason, a system shutdown of these software systems is required for the period from 3 November 2025 - 14 November 2025.

This affects the self-service for students in the QISPOS.

We kindly ask you to Save documents (study certificates, grade lists, BAFöG certificates, etc.) from the system in the download by 30 October 2025 at 4 p.m. at the latest.

If you have any questions about your student data in the above-mentioned time window, please send an e-mail to or call us on +49 3631 420-222 and we will make a note of your request. We will answer all your questions once the systems have been converted.

The Service Point is staffed on a shortened basis and, like the Media centre reachable.

Moodle and e-mail accounts are not affected by the system shutdown.

The Study Service Centre (SSZ) is the central point of contact for students at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences as well as for prospective students and applicants. Students receive comprehensive and professional advice from the beginning of their studies until they successfully graduate.

To this end, the classic functions were combined in this centre:

  • Student counselling
  • Examination office
  • Student secretariat and
  • Internship office

As the link between students and teaching staff as well as the administration, the SSZ has a wide range of tasks.

In particular, you can contact the SSZ in the following matters:

  • Study options and degrees at our university
  • Admission issues and application matters
  • Student Administration (Student Secretariat)
  • Examination administration (examination office)
  • General study counselling
  • Internship questions (Internship Office)
  • Time and room planning
  • Study and examination regulations
  • Study organisational conditions

The SSZ is centrally located in the Service Point - House 18, level 1, room 18.0105.

Central lost property office

The SSZ also acts as a Central lost property office of the university. Lost property should always be handed in there. Owners of missing items can enquire at the Service Point during regular office hours or collect the items here if they have been found and handed in.
