In-service training in "Trauma pedagogy / trauma counselling" (double degree DeGPT/FVTP)

Even more expertise for strong support for your clients!

This further training course creates a scientifically sound and at the same time application-oriented in-depth training programme for professionals in psychosocial institutions who work with people who have experienced trauma and often need support due to trauma-related disorders.

This further training:

  • sharpens the professional view of the people for whom we provide support in the facilities,
  • promotes diagnostic-understanding trauma-sensitive approaches,
  • teaches methods for emotional, physical and social stabilisation and support,
  • expands self-reflection and
  • promotes a sensitive view of one's own self-care.

In the certificate course "Trauma Pedagogy / Trauma Counselling", attendance times in the group alternate with a theory-practice transfer and peer group meetings. The course takes place over a period of one year and is based on six modules that build on each other thematically.

These take place as all-day block events from Thursdays to Saturdays (9.00 to 18.30) in Erfurt.
