You are cordially invited to the ecumenical Bible Week in Nordhausen:

It is about beauty, courage and resistance, but also about the abuse of power, sexualised violence and the culture of remembrance.

The topics will be discussed on the basis of the biblical book of Esther; each evening there will be a 30-minute lecture, followed by the opportunity to exchange ideas in workshops.

    with retired pastor Peter Kube (Nordhausen pastor at the time of reunification)
  • Wednesday: „A question of courage“ (Esther 4-5)
    with Rev. Matthias Hänel (retired migration officer of the church district)
  • Thursday: „A question of victims and perpetrators“ (Esther 8-9)
    with Michael Turbizaš (State Police Chaplain; Diocese of Erfurt)
  • Sunday: „Revealing what is hidden - Purim, the feast of the Book of Esther“ (Esther 9-10)
    with Chasan Jalda Rebling (specialist for Jewish music)
