The Product Development and Production degree programme deals with all aspects of the development and manufacture of products, from the initial idea to series production. You will learn how products are efficiently developed, planned and manufactured. The focus is on optimising processes, complying with standards and integrating future-oriented technologies such as automation and digitalisation into production processes. PEP combines technical expertise with management skills and prepares you to master the challenges of modern industry.

A Master's degree opens up a wide range of career opportunities in development, planning and production. Typical positions include production manager, process optimiser or quality manager. You need a qualified Bachelor's degree (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science) with 210 ECTS and a minimum grade of 2.5. If your Bachelor's degree was not obtained at a German-speaking university, you must also prove that you have a C1 level command of the German language.
