Do you have any questions? We have the answers:
The degree programme is a face-to-face degree programme and the courses usually take place at the university.
However, every event is broadcast via our video conferencing platform using a modern 360-degree camera so that you can also participate from home.
No, you can switch between attending the course in the seminar room and participating via the video conferencing platform at any time. With our hybrid event format, we ensure a high degree of flexibility.
Courses that can only be attended in person at the university only take place once per semester. For example, the first week of the first semester takes place exclusively in presence at the university.
Examinations are written at the university. Presentations, oral examinations and colloquia are possible online. Project reports and term papers also do not require attendance at the university.
Our modern 360-degree cameras ensure that the entire group and the respective speaker can be heard and seen clearly. Participation in discussions is also possible and desirable.
A practical phase is planned in the 4th semester. Students spend 20 weeks full-time (40 hours) on work placement and only come to the university for the reflection days.

What is the difference between studying at a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) and at a „Universität“ (university)? At our University of Applied Sciences, you will receive much more support throughout your learning process than at a traditional university. We provide self-assessment questions to help you check your understanding, offer practical exercises to deepen your knowledge, and encourage a high level of interaction in lectures and seminars. This is very different from courses with more than 300 students.
