  • FAQ

With the Bachelor's degree programme in Digital Product Management, you are aiming for a degree in a relevant professional field. Digitalisation is influencing all industries and the role of the product manager is becoming increasingly relevant.

The Digital Product Management degree programme is currently only available at one other university. There are many degree programmes in the field of digital management. However, these are often not specifically geared towards the challenges of a product manager.

The Digital Product Management degree programme was developed together with practitioners and therefore has a high level of practical relevance. We enable you to deepen the theoretical content you have learnt in practice through project modules in each semester.

An application-oriented understanding of maths is definitely necessary for students of business administration and digital product understanding. However, it is also clear that every pupil, student and lecturer has their strengths and weaknesses. If you have difficulties in maths, you can take bridge courses to brush up on the necessary basics.

Working together with specialists from other disciplines (e.g. computer science) is normal professional practice. The computer science content taught on the Digital Product Management degree programme is designed to facilitate such interdisciplinary collaboration. The degree programme is therefore a mixture of business administration and computer science, whereby the proportion of business studies clearly predominates.

There are no admission restrictions or numerus clausus for the Digital Product Management degree programme. The university entrance qualification via the Abitur or the Fachhochschulreife is decisive for acceptance.

Many of the modules on the Digital Product Management degree programme are based on the curriculum of the Business Administration and International Business Administration degree programmes. For example, the courses in the Marketing specialisation are integrated into the degree programme.

The degree programme builds on the foundations of business informatics in the degree course and is also linked to the computer science degree programmes. This enables a high degree of interdisciplinarity in the programme.

No. We offer enrolment for the winter semester and the summer semester.
