From the Winter semester 2026/27 Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences offers the new Bachelor's degree programme „STEM teaching degree for mainstream schools“ on. The degree programme has a Standard period of study of six semesters and can then be used with the four-semester Master of Education at the University of Erfurt can be continued. This enables regular entry into the teaching profession in Thuringia.
The degree programme comprises a Two-subject training with a major and a minor subject.
The main compartment can be Mathematics, Computer Science or Economy & Technology can be selected.
In addition to these three subjects, the following minor subjects are also available Physics for selection.
