The module Wind Energy Systems consists of an (English) lecture part with 3 SWS and a practical test (in German or English) with 1 SWS, which is compulsory as a preliminary examination.

Flow investigation in the wind tunnel

The wind tunnel experiment is intended to investigate various possibilities for measuring wind speed. In addition, the second and third parts of the experiment offer a practical application of wing theory and similarity theory.
