Collector testing in quasi-dynamic and stationary operation, QDT outdoor test or SST indoor test with solar simulator

In small groups, students test the performance of solar collectors. Based on current standards, solar flat-plate collectors or air collectors are analysed in indoor or outdoor tests.

Goal is to understand the function of the existing collector test stand and to measure the currently installed collector. Stationary points are approached under various ambient and boundary conditions and a collector characteristic curve is created.
