Contents

The Regenerative heat supply module consists of a lecture part with 3 SWS, integrated exercises with an additional 1 SWS and two practical experiments, which are compulsory as a preliminary examination.

Topic A:

Excursion: Systems for heating and cooling supply, air conditioning and ventilation technology

In the WV-A practical course, students work in small groups to inspect and explain heating and cooling supply systems, air conditioning systems and HVAC systems. The students actively participate in the practical course by creating simple energy balances, roughly calculating key figures and creating sketches, e.g. hydraulic or measuring point plans.

Topic B:

Air-to-water heat pump

In the WV-B practical course, measurements are carried out in small groups on an air-to-water heat pump. The coefficient of performance (COP) of the heat pump is to be determined at two stationary operating points in accordance with DIN EN 14511. The measurement results are to be compared with the manufacturer's specifications. In addition, sound level measurements are to be carried out during operation.
