The lecture theatre building Haus 19 at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences is one of the central teaching buildings on campus. It was originally built in the 1970s and has been extensively renovated in recent years. Particular attention was paid to sustainability, accessibility and modern technology.
Today, it offers large lecture theatres for around 200 people each, modern seminar and work rooms and technical laboratories.
In House 19 you are sitting in a piece of history - the building is older than the university itself and was only converted into a modern lecture theatre building at a late stage.
