SolarInput e.V., Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and SOKRATHERM GmbH cordially invite you to a public panel discussion on the role of hydrogen in municipal heat supply.

The focus will be on the status quo and future prospects - particularly against the background of municipal heating planning, feasibility and economic viability. The aim of the event is to provide information, stimulate discussion and bring together different positions from different technologies.

The event is aimed at representatives of the hydrogen industry, energy suppliers, municipalities, citizen energy initiatives, SMEs and interested citizens.

Programme schedule:

  • Admission begins at 17:00 with informal networking over drinks.
  • At 5.30 pm, the moderator will open the event and introduce the status quo of hydrogen in the heat supply with a short thematic impulse.
  • From 17:40, the panellists will introduce themselves with short statements (approx. 3 minutes each) - including technology providers, energy suppliers, representatives from politics and administration and a citizens' energy initiative.
  • The open panel discussion with audience participation will start at 18:00.

Key questions include:

What does municipal heat planning mean in concrete terms?
What contribution can hydrogen make to the heat supply?
And where are the opportunities, limits or possible alternatives?

The event will end at around 7.15 pm with a short closing round and an informal get-together with snacks and drinks.
