Every year, more and more small and medium-sized companies in northern Thuringia are looking for a successor.

The generation change is a decisive stage in the company's history, which should be prepared for in a solid and long-term manner.

The Northern Thuringia Business Succession Network is organising the Start-up and Succession Forum 2025 together with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.

A special highlight this year is the hike Demoday.

As part of the hike Demoday, startup teams from Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences will present their innovative ideas and progress made in recent months. The teams cover a wide range of topics, including digitalisation, health, sustainability, inclusion, agriculture and artificial intelligence. The highlight is the audience award. All viewers can vote for their favourites. Afterwards, the teams will be happy to receive feedback and exchange ideas - and of course the first prototypes can also be tested.
