On 23 October, the city of Nordhausen, Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and Hempelmann KG invite homeowners from the region and all interested parties to an information event entitled "How will we heat tomorrow?".

Various exhibitors will be presenting innovative heating technologies on the forecourt of the New Town Hall from 3.00 pm. Interested parties will have the opportunity to obtain personal advice and familiarise themselves with modern heating solutions.

Four short presentations will follow from 4.30 pm, offering different perspectives on sustainable heating solutions:

  • "How will we heat tomorrow?" - Dr Pascal Leibbrandt (Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences) gives a scientific view on sustainable heating options.
  • "How will we heat tomorrow? Heat pumps, hybrid solutions and funding opportunities", Rafael Sauer of Hempelmann KG, presents technological solutions from a wholesale perspective.
  • "Municipal heat planning Nordhausen" - Johannes Götting, climate protection manager of the city of Nordhausen, explains the municipal strategy for the heat transition.
  • "This is how we did it: Combi heating in our own home" - Hinderrike-Johanna Hauer-Berghuis reports from the field.

There will be an opportunity to ask the speakers questions after each presentation.

The event will be rounded off with a finger food buffet and soft drinks. Registration is not required.
