"SoMa in Action" goes into the second round - Three-day event of the Social Management degree programme on the topic of responsibility at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (16-18 December 2024)
Experience how responsibility comes to life! From 16 to 18 December 2024, students and lecturers will work together with students from all semesters in the Social Management degree programme to create inspiring events full of food for thought, discussions and fun - be there when "SoMa in Action" enters its second round!
Why?
"SoMa in Action" offers a platform to clarify practical questions across all year groups: How can social managers take on responsibility in the context of voluntary work and beyond? What different perspectives can be developed on the topic of responsibility? What responsibilities do students take on as part of their degree programme or in the development of their degree programme?
What and when?
The following programme is planned to clarify these and other questions:
Monday, 16 December 2024, 10.00-16.00 - SoMa is engaged
The first day will focus on volunteering and practical solutions for challenges in the social economy. There will be impulses and discussions with representatives from the field on current engagement. Topic islands invite participants to creatively develop solutions before the day ends with an open discussion round.
Tuesday, 17 December 2024, 09.30-16.30 - SoMa takes responsibility
The second day will focus on responsibility from different perspectives and the topic will be brought to life for all our students and lecturers through creative activities and interactive formats by 5th semester students, including a campus rally, world café, quiz show and dilemma simulation.
Wednesday, 18 December 2024, 09.30-12.30 - SoMa for Future
The design and further development of "SoMa in Action" is on the programme for next year. Students and teaching staff will take part in an interactive problem-structure constellation. SoMa will also be the focus of joint reflection and further development as part of a degree programme workshop.
