The emergency number for life-threatening medical situations (including threatening physical altercations) that require medical care can be reached throughout the EU via the Emergency number 112.
You can reach the central emergency department of the Südharz-Klinikum in Nordhausen on 03631 412400, but you can also simply go there at any time and present yourself in person.
The Emergency room is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the week and there is always a mental health professional available to discuss with you how you can be helped in this crisis.
They may be offered temporary admission and overnight accommodation at the hospital.
