If you would like to do an internship abroad, you should start organising it early (12-18 months in advance). For example, if you are planning a stay in the third semester, you should contact the International Office in the first semester.

  1. Obtaining information about the Internship abroad.
  2. Participation in the information evenings on internships abroad.
  3. Appointments via Moodle with the International Office.
  4. Fill in and print out the counselling form (bring to the appointment)
  5. Search for an internship, e.g. by researching on the Internet, at IAESTE, AIESEC Jena or by reading the Testimonials past internships abroad.
  6. Application for an internship.
  7. Read the Data protection information in the context of the use of "Mobility-Online".
  8. Filling out the Online application form and submit a signed printout to the International Office.
  9. Filling out the Training Agreements and obtaining signatures:
    • from the Internship Office (Mrs Bargfrede)
    • from the internship centre
    • Then forward the completed Training Agreement to the International Office.
  10. If you are entitled to BAföG: Applying for BAföG abroad at the responsible BAföG office
  11. If applicable, submit the documents required for Erasmus or PROMOS funding (please note the information in the online application system).
  12. Participation in the final information event and receipt of the document folder.

Before departure Letter of Confirmation signed by the internship company as confirmation of completion of the internship abroad or have an internship certificate issued. (max. 5 days before the date of departure - was sent by us by e-mail together with the Grant Agreement)

  1. Create a Internship experience report or a short video. These should contain a declaration of consent for publication. Hand in at the International Office.
  2. Submission of the Letter of Confirmation or internship certificate to the International Office.
  3. Erasmus+: Participation in EU online survey and OLS language test
