How cool is that? With a laptop or tablet on their lap, prospective students and anyone else who has always wanted to take a look behind the scenes at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences can take a look at the campus, degree programmes and research areas from the comfort of their own home - at the first virtual University Information Day (HIT) on 16 May 2020 from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Originally, not only the University Information Day was planned for 16 May, but also an Open Day so that interested parties could take a look behind the scenes of the ever-growing university. Unfortunately, due to the current contact restrictions, this cannot be realised in this form. However, anyone who is interested in the university can now gain an insight via the university's homepage - from the comfort of their own home.
About the university website www.hs-nordhausen.de/interested parties can discover the extensive range of 25 future-oriented and sustainable degree programmes on offer and take a video tour of the beautiful campus and research facilities. Questions can also be put directly to professors and student advisors in numerous webinars. The student club will also introduce itself and show what can be experienced on campus after lectures.
With the motto "Your imprint counts!", the University Information Day is not only intended to show school leavers that they can have a positive influence on their own life by choosing a degree programme. Anyone interested can see how studying at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences can make a positive contribution to the future of our world - for example with "green" degree programmes, innovative research and the design of digital solutions.
During the virtual info day, prospective students can also gain the perfect equipment for their studies. In a virtual scavenger hunt, interesting information about the university has to be found.
Three great prizes will be raffled off among all participants:
- Prize: a HomeOffice Starter Set "Jumbo" consisting of laptop and headset
- Prize: a HomeOffice Starter Set "Junior" consisting of tablet and headset
- Prize: a HomeOffice Starter Set "Mini" consisting of mobile phone and headset
