UAS President, Prof Dr Jörg Wagner, welcomed 16 girls from all over Thuringia to Nordhausen UAS for the second CampusThüringenTour this year. The Family and Equal Opportunities Officer of the FHN, Prof. Dr Sabine Seibold-Freund, and the Dean of Studies of the degree programme Environmental and recycling technologyProf. Dr rer. nat. Uta Breuer, warmly welcomed the students.

During lectures and discussions as well as a tour of the campus and the numerous laboratories at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, the participants learnt about the FHN and its future-oriented range of courses.

They also gained an exciting insight into the Faculty of Engineering during a tour of the Institute for Regenerative Energy Technology (in.RET) and the AUGUST-KRAMER-INSTITUT (AKI), where they were able to marvel at many research projects.

Organised by the Thuringian Coordination Office for Science and Technology (Thüko) and sponsored by the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, the CampusThüringenTour is aimed specifically at schoolgirls in years 10 to 13.
