A total of 227 Bachelor's graduates and 162 Master's graduates from the two faculties of Engineering and Business, Economics and Social Sciences were honoured. During the ceremony, the proud graduates were presented with their certificates and diplomas, marking the successful completion of their studies and the beginning of a new chapter in their careers.

Greetings were given by Mayor Kai Buchmann, among others, who congratulated and recognised the graduates. The two deans of the Faculties of Engineering and Business, Economics and Social Sciences also offered words of encouragement and emphasised the importance of academic education for the future.

The Student Council (StuRa) of Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences also sent their best wishes.

The musical accompaniment to the event was provided by Karla and Georg Höpker.

University President Prof Dr Jörg Wagner strongly encouraged the graduates to use their acquired skills, passion and ambition to positively shape the world, take responsibility, develop innovative solutions and actively participate in the challenges of our time.

The ceremony was followed by a champagne reception, which was funded by the Academic Association and gave the graduates the opportunity to toast with their families and friends.

Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences wishes all graduates of the 2022/2023 academic year every success and happiness in their future endeavours.
